News & Upcoming Events

  • Registration for 2024 Fall sports will be open from May 1st-June 1st. Our Lady of Victory will be offering the following sports for the Fall season:

    1. Coed Cross Country (early August-late September)

    2. Girls Volleyball (early August-late October)

More details are listed below. Contact Coach Rastrelli with any questions.

  • The Victory Through Christ Summer Sports Performance camp is a 4 day camp that is centered around glorifying God through fitness. This camp is for incoming 7th-12th graders who are looking to improve their overall fitness levels and learn how to incorporate God within their training.

    Dates: August 5th-8th, 2024

    Time: 9am-1pm

    Location: DeKoevend Park

Throughout the four days athletes will:

    1. Gain better understanding about the power of prayer through sport and fitness. They will offer up their triumphs and tribulations for others, using the power of prayer to impact those around them. Proper training provides a way for athletes to get closer to God with prayer, discipline and daily practice of virtues within competition. This will be an environment centered around God and giving Him the glory, knowing there can only be Victory through Christ.

    2. Learn proper warm-ups and mobility movements that will get their bodies primed and ready for the more demanding exercises ahead.

    3. Gain better control of their bodies in space through proper progressions of plyometrics. Plyometrics are used in every sport and can also help build up tissue tolerance for higher intensities of movement.

    4. Participate in a variety of speed and agility drills that will work to increase their acceleration, top end speed, and change of direction.

    5. Be taught different strength movements including: Squat, push-up, hip-hinge, core control and more.

    6. Complete sport performance training by taking part in different conditioning drills, aimed to help increase their aerobic and anaerobic capabilities/capacity.

    7. Participate in different competitions, both individual and team oriented, that will build upon the training performed earlier in the day and throughout the week.

The final day, Thursday, August 8th, will include a family picnic where any and all families are invited to come and learn more about Our Lady of Victory and meet some of the staff and current families. The picnic will be held from noon-2pm with the main dish and drinks being provided. If you can’t make the whole camp we would still love to have you at the picnic.

    Registration will open in May.

  • Men’s Basketball (MBB)

    • With 21 players, we were able to have a Junior Varsity and Varsity MBB team this year. We continued to compete in the Front Range Christian Athletics Association (FRCAA) which is comprised of seven other schools.

    • Varsity: Our varsity team had a strong start to the regular season with a fun victory in our home opener. OLV came in as the third seed in the FRCAA tournament and advanced to the Quarterfinals where they lost in a hard-fought game against the #2 seed, Denver Eagles. Throughout the season, this team showed exceptional character and virtue both on and off the court, putting what it means to be an OLV Knight on full display.

    • Junior Varsity: JV had some exciting out of league play including a victory against John Paul the Great where the atmosphere was electric.

Our JV team secured the #1 seed in FRCAA with some exciting wins throughout the season. After a strong semi-finals victory against FWCA, the team went on to win the JV FRCAA Championship against the Denver Eagles. Congratulations to the coaches and players for a great season.

    Women’s Basketball (WBB)

    • Twelve girls set the bar high during our first season of Women’s basketball. FRCAA only has one other girls’ team so we have been competing with other schools all around the area, including John Paul the Great where relatives battled it out and OLV secured the win. The girls got an automatic bid to the FRCAA championship game where they fought hard against LPRCS.

    • The girls competed in a 5-team, 1-day tournament on February 10th where they came in as the #1 seed. After a strong victory in the semis against Stead the girls fought it out against Aurora Science & Technology where they came away with the victory.

Though it is a great accomplishment to secure a trophy in our first season, we are most proud of, and will continue to strive for, displaying character and virtue, which even our opponents and their families recognized in our Lady Knights.

  • We had a great turnout for our first ever cross-country team which consisted of 12 female and 6 male runners spanning all four grade levels. OLV competed in five different meets plus the annual NunRun to support the Sisters of Life.

In our very first meet, after only two practices, OLV athletes stood out to the host school officials for cheering on every athlete, competing with a smile and bringing joy to the course. They continued this trend throughout the season, showcasing what it means to be joyfully Catholic, no matter the environment. Meets began and ended with team prayer. After each race the female and male athlete who displayed the most virtue received our bright orange Virtue Vest award. Athletes who performed with exceptional speed received the “I am Speed” Award — a Lightning McQueen car.

Through prayer and God’s grace, these 18 athletes set a high bar for future OLV athletics. We do all things for the greater glory of God, represent Our Lady, and intercede for others through our triumphs and tribulations. We are excited to continue to bring our Faith into every aspect of sport and competition, truly embracing the OLV Mission to form joyful saints and Catholic leaders!

    • We are excited to announce a partnership with Runners Roost in Lone Tree.
