Frequently Asked Questions
What does it mean to be part of the Chesterton Schools Network?
OLV belongs to the Chesterton Schools Network, a network of more than 100 classical Catholic high schools in the United States and abroad. Founded in 2013, the network provides a shared curriculum, faculty and administrator training, and opportunities for collaboration among schools.
Since opening in 2019, OLV has followed the Chesterton model of classical Catholic education. Our students also benefit from opportunities such as the Rome pilgrimage and college scholarships for Chesterton students.
Is OLV an accredited school?
Our Lady of Victory holds provisional accreditation through the Chesterton Schools Network, which accredits member schools in partnership with the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA). OLV expects to receive full accreditation within the next two years.
The network’s accreditation standards address eight areas: Mission and Catholic Identity; Pro-Life Commitment; Family Involvement; Curriculum Adherence; Effective Board and Administration; Financially Sound; Network Engagement; and Brand Compliance.
Is OLV recognized as a Catholic school by the Archdiocese of Denver?
OLV is an independent Catholic school recognized by the Archdiocese of Denver. When the school opened in 2019, Archbishop Aquila granted a formal decree recognizing its Catholic status. A seat on our governing board is reserved for the Archbishop’s nominee, and all faculty and board members are practicing Catholics who take an oath of fidelity to the Catholic Church.
Students and families do not need to be Catholic to attend. We welcome families who share our commitment to forming virtuous young men and women through a classical Catholic education.
Why do students wear uniforms at OLV?
Our navy and white uniforms express our God-given dignity, reflect the seriousness of learning, and foster a shared sense of community. Current families can find uniform requirements in the OLV Parent-Student Handbook.
What do OLV students do after graduation?
Most OLV graduates attend four-year colleges and universities, pursuing fields including engineering, biochemistry, architecture, theology, philosophy, and nursing. Others enter the military, pursue religious vocations, or learn a trade. Among the colleges and universities that our graduates have attended are: Hillsdale College, Colorado School of Mines, University of Dallas, CU Boulder, Texas A&M, Benedictine College, Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ave Maria University, University of Navarre (Spain), Christendom College, University of Mary, and Thomas Aquinas College.
Our classical education gives graduates a broad foundation for further study, meaningful work, and a life of service.
Is OLV planning to expand?
OLV plans to grow to approximately 160 students, with about 40 students in each grade. As we grow, we remain committed to preserving our school culture and building strong partnerships with families.
What communities does OLV serve?
Located in Littleton, OLV serves families from south Denver and surrounding communities, including Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Foxfield, Parker, Aurora, and Castle Pines. Our campus offers easy highway access and more than 2.5 acres of green space.

Why is OLV’s tuition so low?
We believe a classical Catholic education should be accessible to families throughout the Denver area. We keep tuition as low as possible by managing expenses carefully, prioritizing excellent teachers, and growing at a sustainable pace.
Scholarships, grants, generous donors, and careful stewardship help make an OLV education possible for families with a wide range of financial circumstances. We are proud to be able to offer an excellent education at a tuition that is less than half of other Catholic schools in the south Denver metro area.
Does OLV prepare students for careers in science and math?
Science and mathematics are essential parts of OLV’s classical curriculum. Students study both subjects throughout all four years, with multiple math tracks, including one that culminates in calculus. Our graduates have entered engineering programs and pursued further study and careers in science and mathematics.
These subjects sit alongside the humanities and fine arts, giving students both a strong academic foundation and a broad education. Explore our curriculum.
Does OLV offer sports?
Athletics at OLV develops students’ abilities and character. Inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II’s love of sports, our program encourages athletes to pursue excellence while growing in loyalty, perseverance, courage, friendship, and magnanimity. Learn more about OLV athletics.
