On December 17th, the OLV movie club will watch Roberto Bengini's 1997 masterpiece Life is Beautiful at the Kolden's house from 6:30pm-9pm. Follow the moving story of Guido Orefice, a Jewish Italian bookshop owner, who employs his imagination to shield his son from the horrors of internment in a Nazi concentration camp. Come enjoy an unforgettable film, popcorn, and some philosophical musings on the movie by our own Grant Reinicke. Space is limited, so please RSVP to lynelle.kolden@gmail.com.
Note: OLV does not endorse these movies and parents should make their own prudential judgment about the appropriateness of the film for their students. A great resource to consult is the IMBd Parents Guide (see here for this month's selection). All movies are selected in conjunction with Grant Reinicke and approved by Randy Aust.
