Giving Day 2025 Toolkit
Dear OLV Families,
Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory’s Sixth Annual Giving Day begins on Friday, September 5th, and ends with our Lepanto Festival on Friday, October 3rd, 2025!
Giving Day is our biggest fundraiser every year, and we ask each OLV family to help us raise at least $2,000/student (or $4,000 per household for families with more than one student at OLV). The four houses will compete for top honors and house points, and donors can give under your family name and house. This year, we’re trusting God to help us reach our school-wide goal of $200,000. These funds help us to retain our excellent teachers, fund our stellar fine arts programming, and offer tuition assistance to families who need it. Giving Day also presents an incredible opportunity to share the story of Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory with people outside of our community.
Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for updates, videos, and a live progress tracker, and mark your calendars for the Lepanto Festival from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 3rd, as we celebrate our incredible OLV community and pay homage to our patroness, Our Lady of Victory.
This page serves as a central hub for Giving Day 2025 resources, including calendars, graphics, phone scripts, and additional materials. Our goal this year is to make Giving Day as seamless and joyful as possible. Please use the resources provided below to begin inviting your friends, family, neighbors, and other connections into our beautiful mission of joyful, classical Catholic education.

Family & Student Resources
These resources are for OLV families and students. They are designed to make it as easy as possible to participate in Giving Day 2025! Together, we can spread the word and invite others to be part of the extraordinary work God is doing at Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory. These tools will help you invite loved ones into our mission and make fundraising joyful, not daunting.
N.B., At the start of Giving Day, the school will also be sharing a private spreadsheet with a list of donations received for your individual family. We will keep these updated daily throughout the four weeks of Giving Day so that you know what donations have been given in your name. This will help you keep track of your own donors in real time so that you can reach out to say “Thank you!”

Additional Pro-Tips
Remember that you are inviting people into the mission of Our Lady of Victory, not just asking for donations. We want our families to share the story of the beautiful things that are happening every day in our building, and Giving Day provides a wonderful opportunity to do just that.
Encourage monthly giving. Recurring gifts are important to the continued financial health of the school.
Encourage early giving. There is no matching gift at the end of Giving Day 2025, so there is no reason for people to sit on their donations until the end.
Don’t forget to thank people after they’ve donated. Manners matter! :)
Don’t stop asking until somebody says “No.” If they do say no, accept their answer and be polite and generous anyway.
If you have them, use your own social media platforms to spread the word leading up to Giving Day and on Giving Day by sharing OLV’s Facebook and Instagram posts.
