Building Updates
Last Updated September 24, 2025
As many of you know, OLV is in the process of securing a long-term home for our school. We have a strong desire to remain in our current building, and we are confident that will be possible. That confidence rests on several positive developments we’d like to share with you.
Please note: this is a dynamic situation, and we will update this FAQ as new information becomes available.
-
Our lease runs through June 30, 2026. We are committed to making this building our permanent home and are actively working toward that outcome.
-
In 2024, Littleton Church of Christ (LCC) listed the building for sale. LCC is now in negotiations with a Catholic organization, Lepanto, LLC, to purchase the property. With the sale of this property, there are a lot of moving pieces involving several different parties (LCC, Lepanto LLC, the city of Centennial, and neighboring landowners).
-
Lepanto, LLC was formed by a Catholic benefactor who wishes to remain anonymous. Its purpose is to purchase and manage the building on behalf of OLV and other Catholic institutions. Under this plan, Lepanto would own the building and lease space to OLV, Sophia Montessori, and any additional Catholic tenants. Our Board Chair, Kevin McAdam, has personally met with the benefactors of Lepanto, LLC.
-
OLV and Sophia Montessori would have a Catholic landlord who shares our mission. The campus could be transformed over time into a more fully Catholic space. Leasing rather than owning frees OLV from the heavy financial burdens of building ownership, allowing us to remain good stewards of our resources and to focus more on our core mission of Catholic education.
-
There are three possible scenarios:
(1) LCC keeps the building, and we continue leasing from them.
(2) Lepanto, LLC purchases the building, and we lease from a Catholic landlord supportive of our mission.
(3) We relocate to a different building. While a committee is actively exploring other leasing options as a precaution, we remain optimistic this will not be necessary.
-
Families can be assured that OLV will have a long-term home. We are confident in our future here, and we will continue to share updates as soon as we are able. Our priority is to give students a stable, excellent Catholic education in a space that reflects our mission.
