We have two great opportunities for volunteer hours left in the fourth quarter. One is helping with theater support and the other is helping with the Baccalaureate and reception. If you still need to fulfill your volunteer hour obligation, these are great opportunities for you. Please use the signup geniuses below to volunteer. Feel free to reach out to Mrs. Riviere if you have any questions. Thank you so much for all you have done this year. Let's keep it going!

For certain feast days this year that are important to our community, such as patron saint feast days, feast days of Our Lady, and others, we will be elevating the liturgy! Our last feast day for this school year is Friday, May 2, the feast of St. Athanasius. One of the ways we will be doing this is by using Latin for the entrance antiphon, the offertory antiphon, and the communion antiphon. English translations will be provided as a handout as you walk into Mass. In addition, the Sanctus and Agnus Dei will be sung with different Gregorian chants. This will be the Missa de Angelis, also known as Mass VIII. If you would like to listen to these beautiful chants ahead of time, please follow the links below.

A blessed Holy Week to you all! Upon return from Easter break, in order to continue our growth in Gregorian Chant repertoire and to continue singing different chant settings of the Mass ordinary, we will be doing a different Gregorian Chant setting of the Sanctus at daily Mass. We will go back to our regular Kyrie and keep the same Agnus Dei. A recording (with the chant notation in the video) is attached if you would like to listen to it before we return from break. Also, we will start singing the Regina Caeli for the recessional. A recording of that with the chant notation in the video is also attached.

The senior play is fast approaching, and freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to consider crew for the senior play! Our plays truly can't get off the ground without the behind the scenes work of volunteer students, and crew members frequently report that it is a fun and rewarding experience! The signup and commitment letter is on the bulletin board outside of the main office this week and it will be as well when we return from break. The letter is attached here as well.

As a testament to the unique beauty of all of our students and their families, we will be running a Celebration of Culture event prior to our awards ceremony this year! For this event, we would like students and families to bring a special dish or drink (non- alcoholic) from their family tradition or heritage to share with the community. In addition, we would like to have special games, crafts, and music that are related to the unique culture being represented.
The event will start at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, May 9th. The awards ceremony will follow at 1:45 p.m. Please use this Sign Up Genius link to bring food or drinks, or to express interest in introducing a family/cultural craft, game, or music.
