WEEKLY UPDATES

We are excited for the 3rd annual Victory Through Christ summer camp! This year will look a little different. This year's camp is built to expose athletes to what a true 5-day training program, centered around Christ, would look like. Athletes will spend 3 days inside the gym, doing full body workouts, learning/reinforcing proper movement patterns. The other 2 days will be spent outside, persevering through conditioning and competition. By the end of the week participants will know basic strength movements, conditioning protocol, gym etiquette, and how to structure an effective training program to continue progressing.
The VTC camp is open to all rising 7th-12th graders.
Dates: August 4th - 8th, 2025
Time: 8:30 am - 11:00 am daily
Available Slots: 25 (First come, First serve basis)

Dear families,
With the Verso l’alto retreat last week, we said our farewells to the students for the summer. It is always a bittersweet moment. I was chatting with a couple of graduated seniors who joined us for the afternoon at the park and they asked if I would miss them. Of course, my response was a firm yes. However, I also mentioned that despite that, their departure from us is good and right. They should be leaving us to move on to the next stage of the journey that God has for them. They should be looking to higher things. It would be disappointing if OLV proved to be the highlight of their lives. We hope for so much more for them!
Verso l’alto—to the heights—is our concluding theme of each year. Mr. Reuter led us all to ponder what we can do to ensure that our summer doesn’t become a winter for our souls. It’s all too easy to fall into a rut of recreation and never reach beyond that into authentic leisure, that is, a respite for our souls that draws us deeper into our experience of truth, goodness, and beauty.
It is our prayer that we can all seek that out, knowing that it can and will be hard and demanding at times. But it will be worth it and we will come out of our summer in August knowing that we made the most of the time which the Lord has provided for us.
On a personal note, I would like to thank you all for the last two-and-a-half years that I was able to serve the school as Headmaster. I look forward to returning to the classroom next year, but the Lord has blessed this time. I am eager to serve under Randy and to see what next year brings.
Oremus pro invicem (let us pray for one another),
Mr. Crane
P.S. Also, thank you very much for your generous gift for the faculty and staff. We are so blessed by you all!

Dear Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory Families,
We are excited to announce a new partnership for the 2025-2026 academic year with Mountain Top Therapy Services to enhance our student support services and create an even more inclusive learning environment.
Mountain Top Therapy Services provides developmental therapy and educational interventions for children with learning differences and disabilities. Their mission aligns beautifully with our commitment to honoring the unique gifts of every student.
Mountain Top believes all children are created with unique gifts and purpose. Through this lens, they build on each child's individual strengths and honor family priorities as they develop personalized, relationship-based solutions that increase student confidence and connection.
Their team consists of experienced, creative, and joyful professionals with a passion for serving children and collaborating with families and educators. They meet students where they are—both on their therapeutic journey and in environments that work best for them.
Our faculty members will work with the team from Mountain Top to foster an environment where all children can flourish, advocate for themselves, and achieve their personal goals within our classical education framework.
This partnership focuses on four essential areas: establishing comprehensive student support infrastructure, developing faculty skills in evidence-based inclusive practices, providing targeted executive functioning skills support for students, and strengthening family collaboration. This partnership represents our commitment to ensuring that every student at OLV can access and excel in our joyful, rigorous classical curriculum while receiving the support they need to thrive.
We look forward to sharing more details about this exciting partnership as we prepare for the upcoming school year.
Peace in Christ,
Randy Aust
Headmaster
