A WORD FROM OUR PATRON
“A young man may keep himself from vice by continually thinking of disease. He may keep himself from it also by continually thinking of the Virgin Mary. There may be a question about which method is the more reasonable, or even about which is the more efficient. But surely there can be no question about which is the more wholesome.”
G.K. Chesterton, Heretics

Dear Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory Families,
It is such a delight to watch our students enjoying our new campus, playing soccer on our new field during lunch, and passing between classes.
Last year, at Back to School Night, I shared with our parent community that the word that kept coming to mind when I thought about Our Lady of Victory was “human.” I still stand by the fact that we provide the best human education in Denver. This year, three words keep coming to mind: patience, mercy, and grace.
As we move into our beautiful new home, the need for all three of these virtues has become abundantly clear. Despite the many hands that worked tirelessly over the summer to make this campus a home for our school, there is still much work to be done. Lord, grant us the gift of patience as we wait for those things to be completed.
Despite our best intentions to plan for every contingency, there are still adjustments that will need to be made. Lord, grant us the gifts of mercy and grace as we make those adjustments.
These small moments that require patience, mercy and grace are the things that sanctify us, and ultimately bring us closer to Jesus.
Our Lady of Victory, pray for us!
Peace in Christ,
Randy -
During this exciting and active first week of school, many of our students have made changes to their schedule. As a reminder to all parents and students, this academic year, Our Lady of Victory instituted an add/drop deadline. The last day to add or drop any Fall semester courses is Wednesday, September 30.
We are happy to make changes before then, but please keep this in mind as you or your student navigates these first few weeks of classes. Thank you!

COLORADO YOUTH SPORTS GIVING DAY BEGINS SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 @ 6:00 PM MT.
Your gift goes further on Youth Sports Giving Day! It's playoff season for Colorado youth sports: get ready for 15 days of giving where every dollar gets supercharged. Dollar-for-dollar matching begins @ 6:00 PM MT on September 1, 2026 from the 1:1 Match Pool giving more Colorado kids a shot at sports.
New this year: You can give through a donor-advised fund (DAF), IRA, or wire on ColoradoGives.org and your gift unlocks its own dollar-for-dollar match from the brand-new America250 Fund — a $250,000 dollar-for-dollar match just for donors giving online with DAF, IRA or wire contributions.
When these two match pools are exhausted, the donation boosters don't stop. Every remaining gift made online is matched at a percentage rate through the Incentive Fund — so your generosity stays in play right to the final whistle on September 15 @ 11:59 PM MT.
All gift matching applies to online gifts made on ColoradoGives.org only — including DAF, IRA, and wire gifts. To keep the playing field level, matching dollars from the 1:1 Match Pool + America250 Fund caps out at $150,000 per organization to celebrate as many participating youth sports programs as possible.
Please consider giving!
