WEEKLY UPDATES

We are excited for the 3rd annual Victory Through Christ summer camp! This year will look a little different. This year's camp is built to expose athletes to what a true 5-day training program, centered around Christ, would look like. Athletes will spend 3 days inside the gym, doing full body workouts, learning/reinforcing proper movement patterns. The other 2 days will be spent outside, persevering through conditioning and competition. By the end of the week participants will know basic strength movements, conditioning protocol, gym etiquette, and how to structure an effective training program to continue progressing.
The VTC camp is open to all rising 7th-12th graders.
Dates: August 4th - 8th, 2025
Time: 8:30 am - 11:00 am daily
Available Slots: 25 (First come, First serve basis)

We are so excited to welcome a new cohort of families into our "Family of Families" at Our Lady of Victory! To that end, we are currently putting together our new family spotlight articles for the 2025–26 school year.
If you are new to OLV, or if you are returning but have a new freshman next year, we would love the opportunity to feature a few facts about your family in our summer editions of the Quid Novi. That way, we will already know a few new faces before the Back to School Potluck scheduled for August 18th. (And while you’re at it, please save the date for that evening!)
Please send the following information to office@ourladyofvictorydenver.com.
Mom & Dad first and last names
Name of your incoming Freshman
What school he/she attended for 8th grade
His/her favorite book, or favorite hobby (you can pick one)
What are the names and ages/grades of your other children?
Which parish/church do you attend
How many years has your family had a student at OLV?
Including a family picture (e.g. a recent Christmas card) would be great, but it's optional!
Thank you for sharing your family story with the OLV community! Please be assured that all responses will be placed behind a password and will only be available to current OLV families.

Well Read Mom (WRM) began as a place for women to gather as a community and unwind from the pressures around us by reading the classical works of literature and discussing the in a Socratic setting. It is a wonderful way to gather as a Chesterton community while also reading classical and spiritual literature. Even if you are not able to finish the readings you are always welcome to join in the discussions. I invite you to an opportunity to to grow in deeper relationships with one another in the OLV community and ultimately grow closer to Christ through this truly wonderful experience of Well Read Mom. The quote for this Year of the Teacher is, “Without confidence and love, there can be no true education.” St. John Bosco.

Dear Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory Families,
We are excited to announce a new partnership for the 2025-2026 academic year with Mountain Top Therapy Services to enhance our student support services and create an even more inclusive learning environment.
Mountain Top Therapy Services provides developmental therapy and educational interventions for children with learning differences and disabilities. Their mission aligns beautifully with our commitment to honoring the unique gifts of every student.
Mountain Top believes all children are created with unique gifts and purpose. Through this lens, they build on each child's individual strengths and honor family priorities as they develop personalized, relationship-based solutions that increase student confidence and connection.
Their team consists of experienced, creative, and joyful professionals with a passion for serving children and collaborating with families and educators. They meet students where they are—both on their therapeutic journey and in environments that work best for them.
Our faculty members will work with the team from Mountain Top to foster an environment where all children can flourish, advocate for themselves, and achieve their personal goals within our classical education framework.
This partnership focuses on four essential areas: establishing comprehensive student support infrastructure, developing faculty skills in evidence-based inclusive practices, providing targeted executive functioning skills support for students, and strengthening family collaboration. This partnership represents our commitment to ensuring that every student at OLV can access and excel in our joyful, rigorous classical curriculum while receiving the support they need to thrive.
We look forward to sharing more details about this exciting partnership as we prepare for the upcoming school year.
Peace in Christ,
Randy Aust
