WEEKLY UPDATES

  • Dear Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory Families,

I would be remiss if I didn’t begin my first communication as Headmaster with a note of overwhelming gratitude to the students, parents, staff, and faculty of Our Lady of Victory. You have gone out of your way to make me and my family feel welcome since formally stepping into this role in early June.

Last month, I had the opportunity to attend my first Chesterton Schools Network conference in New Orleans, alongside Kevin and Christine McAdam, and Erik and Kirsten Reuter. It was a delight to learn from edifying speakers and meet headmasters, teachers, and board members from Chesterton Network schools throughout the country. Still, the best moments of the trip were the conversations I had with Kevin, Christine, Erik, and Kirsten, and hearing directly from them what makes Our Lady of Victory such a special place. I am more convinced than ever that the Holy Spirit is at work in our community.

As we move closer to the start of the new school year, I want to make myself available to you. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me directly at randy.aust@ourladyofvictorydenver.com.

I look forward to meeting all of you in person when we return to school in August.

Until then: Our Lady of Victory, pray for us!

    Peace in Christ,

    Randy Aust

    Headmaster

  • Dear OLV Families of the Class of 2029,

Christ’s peace! We are so excited to welcome a new cohort of families into our “Family of Families” at Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Victory.

As part of this joyful welcome, we are currently putting together our New Family Spotlight articles for the 2025–26 school year. These spotlights will be featured in the summer editions of the Quid Novi newsletter and help introduce our incoming families to the wider OLV community.

When you get a chance, please reach out to us at office@ourladyofvictorydenver.com with the following information:

    1. Mom & Dad's first and last names

    2. Name of your incoming freshman

    3. What school he/she attended for 8th grade

    4. His/her favorite book or favorite hobby (you can choose one)

    5. Names and ages/grades of your other children

    6. Parish/church your family attends

    7. How many years your family has had a student at OLV

    8. If you’re able to include a family picture (e.g. a recent Christmas card or family portrait), we’d love that too—but it’s completely optional!

Thank you for sharing your story with the OLV community. Please know that all responses will be kept private, shared only with current families through a password-protected page.

The other 2 days will be spent outside, persevering through conditioning and competition. By the end of the week participants will know basic strength movements, conditioning protocol, gym etiquette, and how to structure an effective training program to continue progressing.

The VTC camp is open to all rising 7th-12th graders.
